The weather for 2009 in the Oklahoma City area, as it was shown to us from the Night of the Wolf ritual (November 30th). The ritual involves bespelling 12 onions for the year to come, to show the quantity of precipitation for the year.
The onions are then examined on the 6th of January, and depending on how they have spoiled, the amount of rain (or other precipitation) for that respective month can be forecast.
Overall, it looks like a quite dry year for the Oklahoma City area, with possible major drought-related problems.
January - a little precipitation February - a little precipitation March - mild to moderate precipitation April - little precipitation May - moderately dry June - little precipitation July - dry August - some precipitation but also some wildfires September - moderately dry October - moderately dry November - dry December - moderate precipitation
We will be planting the onions on the 1st of March, and how they will grow will show how the harvest will be. |
