Number 3 is the symbol of the hawk and the falcon. We do use the Arabic writing when it comes to numbers, and the number 3 is the image of a hawk/falcon in flight.

It is also the number of the Egyptian God Heru (Horus), the Falcon-God, God of the Sky and of the Triple Wisdom, Hunter God and God of War. His hyeroglyphic sign is a falcon. There are many depictions of Him as a hawk/falcon-headed man.

He is the God of the Sky, and his right eye is the Sun and his left eye is the Moon. The Moon gives a much weaker light because in his fight with Set, Horus had his left eye gouged out by his brother. Toth later restored Horus's eye, but it never was as strong as before.

In Assyro-Babylonian religion, the lion-headed eagle Imdugud has wings made of clouds, when he spreads them over the sky, the rains start falling on drought-parched plains.

The eagles, hawks and falcons are also messengers of the Gods, and bearers of the souls to the Other World. In Greek Mythology, the Eagle is Zeus's messenger (also used to punish Prometheus). In both Roman and Greek mythology, the eagle and the hawk are storm bringers as well.

The eagle Garuda is Vishnu's mount, in the Hindu Mahabharata and it's cry shakes the skies and the earth.

In Native American tradition, the one besides whom a Red-Tailed Hawk flies is a Guardian of Mother Earth. For the two-legged with this Animal Totem, it means that they have to approach spiritual enlightment gradually, in a careful and conscious manner, as the red feathers on the hawk's tail only appear with the bird getting to maturity. Yet once these feathers appear, the inner energy unfurls and the beauty and depth of the Great Spirit shines brilliantly forth.
